Travis Dolter is a rising country music artist who has captured the attention of audiences across western Canada. Raised on a family farm in the heart of Alberta, Travis developed his confidence and charisma on stage from a young age, performing with his family band.
Since those early days, Travis has gone on to become an accomplished performer, with an electrifying stage presence that has earned him top honours in several prestigious competitions. He has raced stock cars, played university soccer, Ukrainian danced, and has earned degrees in Education and Kinesiology while pursuing a music career.
Travis has performed at some of the biggest country venues across Alberta, including headlining theatre shows, playing at Ranchman's in Calgary and Cook County Saloon in Edmonton. He was also a pioneer of the Drive-In concert trend, putting on two shows that raised over $10,000 to date for charity.
Travis's music has been played on radio stations across Canada, as well as in Australia, New Zealand, Europe, and the United States. His original songs are inspired by his own experiences and influenced by music legends like Kenny Chesney, Buddy Holly, and Dierks Bentley.
With his charming personality and witty sense of humour, Travis is a natural born entertainer who knows how to engage an audience and take them on a musical journey through the decades. Whether he's performing for a small group of family or headlining a major venue, Travis is always in his element, sharing his positive outlook on life and spreading joy through his music.
Outreach programs
Holding degrees in Education and Kinesiology, Travis is keen on inspiring individuals of all ages to pursue their musical passions and enrich their lives through music. Options include: participating in band classes, performing creative and engaging intimate concerts, or offering a learning experience by providing songwriting, vocal and guitar playing tips and techniques. Travis has used his guitar as a healing and calming tool with differentiated learners in schools, and as part of his degree wrote an empowering song, now used as an exemplar for new teachers, highlighting the uniqueness of each person's educational journey. Whether performing in a gym or a long-term care home, Travis infuses each performance with positivity and energy.

Bringing a high-energy, crowd engaging performance to every stage is what Travis Dolter is all about. A seasoned songwriter and accomplished performer, Travis's passion for music and commanding stage presence were nurtured from an early age. Travis has earned top honours in prestigious competitions and has been nominated for several awards, including a final ballot nomination for the Country Music Alberta “Fans Choice” award in 2022.
In the last year, Travis has performed over 50 shows across Alberta and Saskatchewan ranging from theatres and rodeo dances to A-list bars and festivals, with a highlight being Country Thunder Alberta - country 105 stage. He has also provided opening support for Gord Bamford, Duane Steele, Hailey Benedict and more.
With his vast repertoire of genres and experience, Travis can fill the night with original songs and stories, or combine them with a mix of country, rock and pop hits ranging from the 50’s to current day, sure to keep your audience wanting more.
