Showcase Description
Saxsational offers audiences a glimpse at some of the most unusual saxophones ever made. This guest artist program invites local high school and community concert and jazz bands to join Rob on stage for a formal concert presentation. For the actual showcase, a Great Falls area high school band will be invited to join Rob as they present an exciting mix of concert band and jazz band repertoire including swing era jazz classics, light classical and trendy pop and movie themed selections. Approximately 4-5 different saxophones will be presented in the showcase including the tiny sopranino sax, slide sax and giant 6 ft tall contrabass sax. The touring show will include about 10 different saxophones. Rob will collaborate with each school band director and customize each show based on the musical ability of the musical ensemble. In addition, Rob will program several musical selections that he performs as a solo saxophonist using backing track accompaniment.

Please answer indicate that your 2 most viable touring months in the upcoming season(s).
Feb and March. I am selecting this in part because many high schools are consumed with marching band and holiday concert responsibilities during the fall. February and March seem to be good times when concert band and jazz band classes are in full swing yet prior to April and May when schools are focused on festivals and end of year concerts.
