Showcase Description
The Arcis Saxophone Quartet redefines classical music through innovation, boundary-pushing performances und engaging concerts. In their 15th anniversary season the winner of the Showcase Award Grand at Arts Northwest, Oregon and world wide touring ensemble presents you a selection of their latest programme Quirky Nightclub Chronicles: fresh sounds with Marc Mellit's Tapas, captivating stories in their arrangement Moments With Piazzolla and hot rhythms leading to a surprise finale in their signature piece Patchwork by Philippe Geiss.
And as always, with the unique Arcis twist: creative arrangements, powerful interpretations, and a touch of eccentricity that not only allows classical music to be heard but felt throughout the entire body.
For the Arcis Saxophone Quartet, music is an endless playground, and they are as diverse as no other group. Only one thing remains always constant: their distinctive sound.

Community Educational Outreach
We strongly believe in music and art's pivotal role in education. As performers, it's our duty to facilitate children's access to music for a fulfilling future. From our ensemble's inception, we've engaged with youth through talks, school visits, and university workshops globally. Ricarda and Claus are certified music educators, ensuring top-quality workshops. As members of Live Music Now since 2009, we've performed over 180 concerts for disabled children, adapting our strategies to diverse settings. We conduct approx. 20 school visits per year. Children aren't just future listeners; they're society's future. Let's empower them for a meaningful tomorrow.
