Performer Description

An acoustic duo that sounds nothing like an acoustic duo, Champagne Sunday describe their unique sound as "Glam-
Folk"; in that they like to tell stories and engage with their audiences, but they're happier and don't wear corduroy. Crowds have described their shows’ positive messages as therapeutic and “just what everyone needs right now”.

Together, the husband / wife duo makes music that is deceptively complex, but played with an ease and passion that is simultaneously surprising and familiar, as well as joyful and uplifting.

Community & Educational Outreach

We have had great success working with children of all ages. For the elementary school kids (K - 6), we showcase several different instruments onstage, and have them participate by dancing, singing along, etc., fostering an interest in music. For Jr. and Sr. High (7 - 12), we do something similar, but focus more on message, encouraging them to love themselves, love each other, and stay true to who they are. With both groups, we finish with a 15-min QnA that usually leads to great discussions. We've also done songwriting and choir workshops, and played at hospitals for the elderly and assisted living crowds. We are extremely versatile, and open to alternative outreaches, as needed or requested by the community.

Is an outreach performance included in your mainstage performance fee?

Yes. The number of outreaches is negotiable. We don't mind doing more than one, even three, as long as it works with our travel plans.
