Acoustic Eidolon's showcase takes audiences on a virtuosic musical journey around the world with strong original compositions featuring Celtic, Flamenco and Americana influences, cover tunes from artists including Leonard Cohen, Simon & Garfunkel, Queen and Joni Mitchell, and engaging short stories from their multiple trips around the globe. Joe performs on his double-neck 14-stringed guitar, an instrument of his own design praised by USA Today as a “beautiful harp-like sounding instrument … like nothing we’ve ever heard before.” Cellist Hannah Alkire is recognized internationally for her exquisite tone and the mesmerizing emotion she puts into each performance. She takes the cello into uncharted territories, continuing her reputation as a tour-de-force in cello performance. By showcase end, the listener will fully appreciate their musical versatility (both vocal and instrumental) as well as the palpable, compelling connection Joe and Hannah create with the audience and each other.

Community & Educational Outreach
Acoustic Eidolon greatly enjoys doing outreach while traveling and doing concerts. Their elementary/middle/high school programs take students on a musical journey around the world, showcasing the instruments, musical styles and innovative techniques. The program includes “Old McDonald” (for the younger students) with Hannah imitating animal sounds on her cello! AE also has 20 of their pieces arranged for orchestra that they can coach and perform with community orchestras or students of all ages and levels, as well as 10 pieces arranged for choir.
Hannah and Joe also enjoy doing masterclasses and workshops with adults, college students, music students and songwriters.

Promotion Publicity
Acoustic Eidolon offers 11" x 18" full-color hard copy posters as well as downloadable poster files. They have an extensive mailing and emailing list, and put out announcements for all of their shows through those modes. They also have a strong social media presence and promote concerts there. Joe and Hannah keep their website current with tour dates, and are happy to submit press releases for community blogs, etc. Joe and Hannah love to do interviews, either remotely or by personal appearances!
