Community & Educational Outreach
My annual Christmas show is a community involved event. I program and send material in advance to music teachers, who teach local students the parts so they can perform with me on stage! This can be adapted to non-Christmas.
I can provide songwriting workshops (elementary,high school, community) teaching songwriting basics, or advanced skills, as well as industry tips. I find it richly rewarding to work with youth and help bring out a skill that they may not know they even have.
Lastly, I've traveled to Ethiopia with Canadian Humanitarian to work with their students, teaching them a song that we performed, and often am asked to teach the same song to Canadian students to perform in an effort to connect humanity and build community.
Is an outreach performance included in your mainstage performance fee?

I'll absolutely contribute photos/logos etc, or design and handle the poster/social media posts if requested. I have a good rapport with all CDN radio outlets, and I'm more than happy to conduct phone/in person interviews for radio, TV and social media. I'll gladly promote through my socials, which includes 33k on FB and nearly 10k twitter/instagram as well as 176k followers on Shazam. My tour dates are always posted through Bandsintown and show up on my website.
