Community & Educational Outreach

In addition to mainstage performances I offer audience-tested school assembly programs with comprehensive teacher guides that connect to curriculum standards. I also offer outreach activities that simultaneously function as promotional events, as you'll see below. Finally, I do a series of special presentations on film legend Charlie Chaplin. All of these programs complement my featured show and help to build the audience.

Is an outreach performance included in your mainstage performance fee?

One outreach engagement is included in my fee.

Residencies,Workshops,Master Classes,School Programming,Lectures/Speakers

Promotion Publicity

In addition to supplying comprehensive promotional materials I offer residencies that help presenters build audiences. These take the form of meta-theatrical stunts that generate word-of-mouth and media coverage. For example, I appear before Rotary groups as a stress-management expert who falls apart; take a stroll through the local shopping mall in slow-motion; or make a surprise appearance in church to preach a silent sermon.

Showcase Description

THE MAGIC LESSON is “an evening of unforgettable characters, irresistible comedy and unbelievable magic,” according to Mary Leb, Programming Director of Carnegie Hall in Lewisburg, WV. It’s the story of a boy who learns some incredible lessons about life by learning to do magic, with a sci-fi twist as Dan’s live and video selves struggle for control of the narrative. Mary calls the show “pure delight.”
