Performer Description
Melody McArthur is a multi-award-winning singer, songwriter, and actor from Treaty 8 Northern with a powerful voice and penchant for emotionally-driven performances. She is set to release her seventh album, The Gospel Truth, in 2026 and captivated theatre audiences as a lead actor of Bear Grease during its 2025 off-Broadway debut. McArthur is set to star in the World Premiere of Tomson Highway's musical “Rose” at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa, Ontario March-April 2026.

Melody McArthur is a live theatre actor with a background in musical theatre, film acting, songwriting, and vocal solo acoustic and live band performances.
For her showcase/touring performance, Melody will be offering up either a solo intimate acoustic live performance of original works, including from her 2026 album The Gospel Truth, fan crowd cover favourites, and comedic in-between dialogue and audience interaction.
Melody is a dynamic performer, raised all over the various topographical regions of Alberta including the North, the Prairies, and the major urban centres of the province, making her a renowned emotionally-driven songwriter, proud Albertan, and well-spoken, theatrical artist whos artistry and personality on and off stage resonates with a wide array of audience and community members aged from 18 - 60+ with a fairly equal balance of self-identifying men to women.
