There are 2 issues that need our immediate attention

Since April 1, DOGE has put dozens of the NEH’s staff on administrative leave, making it impossible for the agency to fulfill its statutory obligations. DOGE has also terminated more than 1200 grants to organizations and individuals throughout the United States—including operating support grants to humanities councils in every state, Washington, D.C., and the U.S. territories.

On Friday night, March 14, President Trump issued an Executive Order intended to dismantle the only federal agency dedicated to funding library services, the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), as well as six other agencies.
