When artists showcase at MPAC’s annual Artist Showcase & Conference, the goal is simple: real bookings, real tours, and meaningful connections with presenters.
A great example of that impact is Buzz Brass, a Montreal-based brass quintet that showcased at the 2024 MPAC Conference.
As a direct result of their MPAC showcase, Buzz Brass will tour Montana in February 2026, performing four engagements across the state:
January 31, Libby – Kootenai Heritage Council, Libby Memorial Events Center
February 3, Eureka – Sunburst Arts & Education, Eureka High School Auditorium
February 7, Billings – Alberta Bair Theater
February 10, Fort Benton – Chouteau County Performing Arts, Fort Benton Elementary Auditorium
In addition to this multi-city Montana tour, Buzz Brass has been booked for a featured concert on April 16 2026 with the Great Falls Community Concert Association at the Mansfield Theater—an engagement offered as both a single-ticket event and part of a season subscription.
Buzz Brass is no newcomer to international touring. Since forming in 2002, the ensemble has performed nearly 2,000 concerts across North America, Europe, and China, released eight albums (with a ninth in progress), and earned numerous Canadian music awards.
We are proud to share that MPAC played a key role in helping translate a single showcase performance into multiple confirmed bookings and a return engagement.
This is the strength of MPAC’s model: curated showcases, presenter-led selection, and relationship-building that turns one performance into a tour.
For artists looking to expand their touring footprint—and for presenters seeking high-quality, tour-ready performers—MPAC continues to deliver results that last well beyond the conference weekend.
Showcase applications for the October 2026 Artist Showcase & Conference will open on February 1. Learn more and apply here.
