In May, acclaimed pianist Jason Lyle Black and his wife, talented vocalist Hayley Renee, traveled to Hamilton, Montana, to headline the Bitterroot Valley Arts Gala. The evening was a resounding success, with board members praising the duo for bringing an elite, memorable level of entertainment to this year’s fundraiser.
Not only did they wow the crowd with their musical talents, but they also found a creative way to support the cause directly from the stage. The couple wrote a custom, Julie Andrews-themed song—cleverly tossing in lyrics like "Just a few thousand dollars brings a show here to town..."—to seamlessly weave the evening's fundraising ask into their performance.
When they weren't on stage, the couple took some time to explore Montana's natural beauty, citing a hike up the Blodgett Canyon Overlook Trail as a major highlight of their trip. "We absolutely loved visiting the Bitterroot Valley," Jason shared, adding a special thank you to Stacie Duce and the Hamilton board for being such wonderful hosts.
